Its primary investment objective is to generate current income, with a secondary objective to generate capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of the aggregate of its net assets and borrowings for investment purposes in credit and credit-related instruments. For purposes of this policy, it considers credit and credit-related instruments to include, without limitation: equity and debt tranches of CLOs, LAFs and securities issued by other securitization vehicles, such as CBOs, convertible debt securities, and others. The company is externally managed by Carlyle Global Credit Investment Management L.L.C.
